Your journal is great, Shamrock! I love it.

Yes, there are two novels, available at amazon.com, in which Tsujatha figures. I am thinking of writing up a third, but I doubt that Tsujatha will be in it, due to its being set a few thousand years before his birth!

Anyway, check them out sometime.

Patience young grasshopper!

I did another couple of hours on the next installment, but it's going to have something "a bit different" in it, so taking a bit longer than usual. I will try and get the next installment up by the weekend

Chpt 13, Part 1. As people are asking for the next installment, I thought I would post part 1 now, a couple of days before part 2 will be up. Oh, and for those that are interested, the list of mods I'm using (and the order I installed them) can be found here (.rtf file) Sorry about the larger-than-normal photos in this installment too, they were unavoidable.

Jan had a present for me in the borning - his "Boots of Jansenkind", allowing me to take his form briefly upon activation. They certainly are a wonderous pair of boots although I'm not sure how suited they are to my occupation - they have a tendency to let loose small puffs of steam every now and again! "Don't talk down to them" Jan warned me - he does keep a smile on my face sometimes!
Quote:

Detheriel scouts ahead to pick targets among the vicious Ogrons

It turns out that the "large orcs" were actually Ogrons, camped out near the old dragon cave. I scouted ahead to see how strong their party was and could see them gathering up the courage for an assault into the cave itself - clearly someone was barricaded in there and repelling them.

Quote:

The party prepares to repell the invader

After the party prepared themselves, we quickly attacked and crushed the Ogrons. I ventured into the cave and found Madulf protecting a child from the village!

Quote:

Tsujatha strides forward to inspect the fallen

Madulf explained that he'd held them off as long as he could and, despite being wounded, had managed to delay their attack upon the main village. He's a hero in my opinion and hopefully this will mark a turning point in his relations with the village folk. Saerileth tended to his immediate wounds and, after bring the good news to the town, we set off back to Trademeet.

Quote:

Madulf stands guard over a child from the village.

We hadn't been on the road for more than a few hours when a breathless messenger called us back - apparently Umar herself had returned! The news brought a mild smile to my lips at the simplicity of village folk for believing such nonsense but nevertheless I turned the party around and we headed back. After a brief chat with the mayor he directed us to the Shade Lord's dungeon. Filled with confidence following our recent successes we headed off there immediately, sure that we could vanquish a half-baked witch without any problem.

Walking through the transformed forest Mazzy remarked how much she admires the earth which led Jan to comment that maybe she should work with potatoes...

Quote:

Mairyn appears to ask for aid once more

Luckily the conversation was halted by the appearance of Mairyn, the forest spirit who we had aided before. She explained that the witch was poisoning the woodlands - perhaps she wasn't as half-baked as I initially thought!

We entered the dungeon and were immediately confronted by legions of foul undead!
Quote:

Rotting bodies stagger and fall in agony

After brushing aside their onslaught, we confronted Umar working her magicks near the entrance.

Quote:

Umar looks on in horror as her protective illusion is destroyed

She was a powerful mage, creating an illusion of herself in an attempt to mislead us, but was no match for the combined might of the party and both her and her illusion were quickly dispatched.

Quote:

Umar's corpse slides to the dungeon floor

After consulting the party, I then decided to lead us deeper into the dungeon to confront the shadow dragon that we had sneaked past earlier. Buoyed by our slaying of the powerful dragon for the Order, we believed that this would be an achievable, if challenging, battle...
