I sometimes fish, but it pretty quick turns into a drinking party when we are with a few guys. The last time i went fishing i ended up swimming in the Amsterdam Rijnkanaal with a bottle of beer in my hand. And it's hard to catch a fish like that.

I would like to fish but I need some nice lady go with so she can put that yucky worm on the hook. And to take the stinky yucky fish off the hook if I should be so lucky as to catch one.

LOL You two!
You gotta catch the lady before she'll bait your hook & take the fish off!
Some stranger (woman that is) might charge you, or even worse, call you a baby and laugh at you.

I love to fish but I need me a man to bait the hook and take the fish off of it LOL. LoA, we should never go fishing together unless we plan on not fishing!

Guys! Sheesh! Taking the fish off the hook is the easy part. If you don't like putting worms on the hook because of the goo (uck) then try minnows or crickets or better yet, artificial flys with spoons. Bits of uncooked meat work good for catfish, too. Need any hunting tips, too? lol

Some thoughts on fishing:

The amount of time spent fishing is taken from one's total allowed at a discounted basis - the more you fish, the longer you live.

The worst day of fishing beats the best day of work.

Fishing is more art than science - "Art, grab me another beer." "Hey Art, I think you got a bite." "Art, grab me another beer." "Art, stick another worm on this here hook since you are putting one on yours." "Art, how'bout a beer here." See? Definitely more art than science!

My favorite fishing was in Alaska, between going out deepwater for halibut, making and dropping your own crab pots off the docks in Homer, Clamming the low tides at Ninilchik, and of course, the salmon fishing. Saltwater kings, Kenai river kings, the runs of red and silvers in july and august.

Fly fishing here in mt is a very close second, but very different kind of fishing. *sigh* guess it will have to do til we get back to the land of the midnite sun. - Oh, that's right, see #1 and #2 above.

And if the fish isn't big enough, leave it on the hook, you'll catch a bigger one.
