I am so angry! I bought a new pesticide that you sprinkle on the ground instead of trying to coat the leaves with poison. I thought it would be better. It is called Advanced Lawn Powerforce, made by Bayer. It consists of white granules that dissovle and poison the dirt for ants and bugs. Well, in 48 hours, my garden has died. Most of the tomato leaves are brown and the pepper plant leaves have fallen off, still green! Also, on the hot pepper plants...a strange white mite army has invaded and are devouring the plant. What the hell is going on?

Any farming experts out there wanna help me before I kill somebody?

Larry,
Depending on the size of your garden, you may have put too much....
Ortho has a great insecticide for gardens....it is 10-20-10 dust, and is safe for dogs and cats. You can even use it on your pets for fleas and ticks. Dust the leaves and around the stem of the plant, and the mites should be killed.
As for your tomatoes!!!! MIRACLE GRO, misted over the leaves and stalks, and get some 10-5-20 tomato granules, and give them a huge helping at the root..........

If you have any questions, email me....

(my dad and I have been featured in Home and Gardens, and Organic Gardening magazines since 1969..... , I have a ton of info for you if you'd like it......)
