Shadow Temple question (spoilers)

the statue in the temple of Amaunator (with the shadows) that has a caption like "This statue is of a woman holding out her hands like she's waiting for something to be placed in them"....

What's she waiting for ? Every time I go through here I try putting things in her hands, and nothing ever seems to have any effect.

Also: I always find the 2nd half of a note in this temple from some guy about buried treasure... I've never found the 1st half (and searching in shadow keeper has me convinced there isnt a 1st half), and I can never find any treasure from the description on the note either. Does anyone know if this exists, and if so, how to find it ?

Applicable only if your character ever falls in love.

dont worry about that right now, its for much much later in the game.
