I am just interested to see what you all think about Dominoes Pizza. I think its an Australian chain, so I apologise if you've never heard of it. The reason I ask is because Dominoes have offered us a very good price for my father's business and would like to turn it into one of their franchises. Any thoughts?

Dominoes is one of the WORST pizza delivery places in the history of human kind. A grease pit could honestly offer better food.

Going back to the original post... Dominos is indeed based out of Michigan (Ann Arbor area, specifically, home of the Wolverines who kicked Buckeye tail this weekend ). They are a large enough pizza chain that their founder, Tom Monoghan, owned the Detroit Tigers professional baseball team.

What I would say is that if they are interested in acquiring your dad's shop, talk to them seriously about it. They will have the pockets to do something nice , no matter what some people say about their pizza.

Well here in Iceland there is a Dominoes Pizza Franchise or something, they don't make the worst Pizzas here but I prefer Pizza67 which is an Icelandic chain. The worst here is Pizza Hut... I paid 2200 isk (about 18$) for a pepperoni pizza 2l coke and garlic bread, the pizza was a unbaked dough wit 5 slices of pizza on it and I got 2 garlic breadslices that tasted like earwax (don't ask how I know... ). the only good thng about it was the coke...

Over here Dominoes are fine. If they don't deliver within 40 minutes you get your pizza free...not bad (and has happedn 1 or 2 times). Pizza Hut id by far the preciest and weird-tasting pizza.

Well if the price they are offering is good and is more than you would earn as a business in the next little while, take it. If you want to keep your business don't.
