Vicotnik - Got it! Kinda a short one, but great nonetheless! I wish I could see you working those strings! You never realize how difficult playing that type of instrument is until you've actually seen it in progress! I can see why it's called the Painter's Jig, kinda makes me think of painting!

Thanks for the compliment! It was the easiest one of them all and something I used to get familiarized in the studio and warmed up. It demonstrates some very basic folk music licks like the roll, slides and bowing patterns. The first one I learned, actually my teacher wrote this himself so it's not a traditional song per se, just in that spirit.
