Dunno if any of you noticed, but in SOU 20th level monks don't have glowing eyes anymore . As far as I *know* this is not intended and due to fix in 1.31 but anything I heard is not defo.
I've made a post in the NWN's forum to see if it's a 1.30 thing or an SOU thing just to make sure, that way I can send a bug report if need be. [ 07-05-2003, 07:11 PM: Message edited by: SpiritWarrior ]

Did you do forum search over at the BioWare boards? I am nearly certain this topic popped up a week or two ago over there.
EDIT: I'll fire up my trainer and make a level 20 monk for you later, and let you know if I can replicate this. [ 07-05-2003, 08:29 PM: Message edited by: Chewbacca ] |

Yeah I've seen it on the Bio boards just now but nothing is definate, even the producer is giving half-hearted roundabout answers.
It is definitely happening in SOU as any PC's or NPC's I have who are 20th lvl monks have lost their eyes...be them cyan or red. I do hope they fix that feature cuz I do like it...although IMHO it would be cooler is Sorcerers achieved glowing eyes at 20. [ 07-06-2003, 05:39 PM: Message edited by: SpiritWarrior ]

1.31 Beta 1, Original NWN and NWN: SoU (English)
Release Notes: Fix to database system referencing player name variables. This fix is already in Live 1.30 but will break compatibility between player-specific data between SoU 1.30 and 1.31. We apologize for any inconvienience. Fixed up some SoU vs. non-SoU compatibility issues Fix to henchman not loading in from the database after module transition Added 7 scripting commands Added a new DM "Jump Single Player to DM" radial menu option Fixed Monk Glowing eyes Made a theoretical fix to the "body switching" bug. Let us know if this fixes it or if its still happening at nwbugs@bioware.com Added a new console command - "setfogdistance x" where x is the distance to set the fog. At this time, this command can only move the plane out, not back in. |

Yeah they let me know yesterday. The beta is not out yet actually, so I'd watch installation of it if you downloaded already - taken back in for revision due to error.
