How did you feel about Fenthick being hanged? Did you feel it was the right thing to do? Or did you feel it was unjust and was only to calm down the angry mob? What are you opinions in this "incident".

Definitely done to quiet the mobs of people thirsting for the blood of the guilty. It would make sense to question both of them involving their involvement with the cult. Desther of course would be guilty as sin. But Fenthick would almost certainly be found guilty of negligence, probably stripped of rank and imprisoned for a time. But not hung, as there was obviously no intent to harm Neverwinter.

Question Mark

I did feel really bad after he was hanged. I mean, he didnt know that Desther was on the other side. It would have been wiser to see him stripped off his rank, but hanging him is a bit too much.
Also, don't worry about it that much, it's only a game...

My heart poured out to young Aribeth...she looks so heartbroken/angry/lost in that clip.

Fenthick was a little blinded by his faith it seems.

Tell you the truth i was beginning to have suspicions when talking the Desther during Chapter 1, my Monk had highg wisdom and i could choose the 'insight' option when talking to him saying things like:

"So Desther, your helmites seem like a cult don't they?"

Also my suspicions were almost confirmed when i chose to be blessed by one of the helmites and the magic used was the same as the 'negative energy' or 'level drain' which gave an obvious hint away.

Desther's 'evilness' was so ridiculously obvious I at first refused to believe he was a badguy. I mean, what kind of plot would that be if the player practically knew from the start?

Fenthick's hanging was not very logical, especially as they already had someone to blame in the form of Desther. Required for the next phase fo the plot, yes, sensible, no. Stripping him of rank or sending him from Neverwinter would have been far better alternatives.
