In the opening scene of Indiana Jones Raiders of the lost ark, Jones's comrade betrays him and is then killed. Jones escapes on a two seater amphibious bi-plane with a pilot. The plane has two seats and two passengers. If Indi's associate had not betrayed him and had survived, they couldn't all have escaped.

If anyone else has noticed mistakes, absurdities or continuity errors in films post below.

The Matrix Revolutions: in the subway scene Neo stands in there with a suitcase. He then runs into the tunnel in the same subway but the suitcase isn`t there.

In Star Wars (The Empire Strikes Back, I believe), Yoda proclaims that Luke is too stubborn. Suddenly the 'ghost' of Obi-Wan Kenobi shows up and says "Weren't I the same when you trained me?"

Well, call me crazy, but I thought Episode 1 made us believe Obi-Wan was trained by Qui Gon Jinn? No by Yoda!

(of course, there's probably an easy way for Lucas to talk himself out of that one..)

In Matrix, the actors obviously had some trouble remembering where they put their hands when changing cameras. In the introduction scene Morpehus' hands are straight pressed to himslef, but when the camera is behind one of the hands is befind his back. Later, when Morpehus is being interrogated by Smith, Smith is also changing his fingers when cameras change. When the lobby explodes it's intact, without bodies or broken pillars. In Matrix 2, on the highway, the traffic changes direction a few times. When they're fleeing the garage with the twins behind them, the twins crash a car. Later, the wrong side of the car is crashed. There's tons of movies with tons of errors. Just tell me one movie and I'll spew out the mistakes! I enjoy catching flaws in films.

A mistake in (Dutch) subtitles in LOTR:TTT. At some point, Theoden says something like "now for wrath, now for ruin and a red dawn". Which they translated into "not for wrath,.. etc"

I IIRC that The Matrix is the movie with most mistakes ever. In Matrix (1) when Neo and Morpheous go to see the Oracle a camerman can be seen in the hook.

You can see a camera man in Gladiator also.
My bro discovered the secret behind a stunt in Dragonheart. When one of the dudes get killed from an axe in the back, the axe blade is hit sideways so it doesn't actually penetrate. However, it is camoflauged nicely.

I know for sure that in the Matrix you can see a microphone as well somewhere.

Not to mention the (in the Ext. Version brushed out) car in the background of the Fellowship of the Ring
