I didn't have time to read through every post, and considering quite a few were in German (I think), that isn't such a bad thing. Sorry for that anyway. But my point is, that I might be mentioning something that someone has already said...

I don't know many, but I heard this one a while back, and thought it was right to the point...

He Says: "So tell, me ...... Do you sleep on your stomach?"
"you don't? Well can I?"

Gothic pick-up lines
*corny alert!!*

- “You remind me of my dead ex-girlfriend.”
- “Go out with me or I’ll kill us both!”
- “Hey there, sweet-fang!”
- “Hey, can I bum a clove?”
- “Vlad to make your acquaintance!”
- “Your name is Erin too?!”
- “See that man in the corner? Vampire slayer. C‘mon let‘s get out of here!”
- “Your coffin or mine?”
- “Hi, I’m Andrew Eldritch” (never works)
- Don’t you think the human voice, wailing in agony, is the most beautiful of all instruments?”
- “That’s a nice black lace Victorian-era corset. But it would look nicer crumpled up in a ball on my bedroom floor!”
- “You’re so beautiful, when I look at you my heart starts beating… I think.”
- Did you know that you have enough tissue on the inside of your lungs to wallpaper the entire room?
- "Excuse me, young lady. Could I ask you, were we tortured and then
burned at the stake as Agnostic Cathar Heretics by the Spanish
Inquisition during intimately linked previous lives in the early 12th
century?"
- "No, no, no... what's your *real* name?"
- "Shhhhhhhhhh...... Don't tell anyone but I'm a vampire. Shhhhhhh.... No really. and I'm 4000 years old. Really. but now I live in the valley with my mom."
- You're mine... Let's go
- "You must all be sisters, right?"
- "I've got these lovely new satin sheets and no-one to share them with."
- "Would you care to see my collection of scars?"
- "Wow. That outfit must make a lot of noise in the dryer, huh."
- "Tell me, is your heart as cold and black as your eyes?"
- "Put on your cape love, you've pulled."
- "Excuse me, but your veil is caught in my handcuffs..."
- "Your hair is the color of my soul."

The pick up line I liked best was this guy in Amsterdam who followed me out of a shop, stopped me in the street and said ‘I hope you don’t mind me following you, but..... I do find you so very appealing. Will you spend some time with me?’

He was majorly cute so I decided to go for some conversation at the very least – during which he revealed himself as straight up macho and boring to boot.

So great pickup line, honesty and cuteness don’t guarantee a roll in the hay. (Although two and three don’t half help...) Me, I find I’ve got to be attracted to a person mentally as well as physically. Having stuff in common is pretty indispensible also.

(Except when completely off face, when all this completely goes out the window. Since I stopped with alcohol a few years ago, my sex life has taken the biggest nosedive ever........ It’s like I don’t go through that haze thing where people start looking pretty good after a few bevvys.... I sort of miss that )

Or do I? Actually, no I don’t. It means I’ve stopped going out with complete arseholes!!!!!!
