Yep there you se Dan, make the donation post "Globale" on the forum then maybe more peoples know how it is here, not all visit GD you know and i am sure we shall make it this month too dont worry
And here is a suggestion: Make a donation "button" also the PayPal thingy have it on bottom of the page or someting but let them se it in every board on the forume and make this "We need donations" thread sticky on them all then i think you will se a change pretty soon!!!!
Bacause maybe 150 members here is actualy "active" in gd the rest is on the other boards here...

This is making me wish my bro was a little better off with his finances at school. Oh well, maybe after I get a new job I can kick something your way.

I'd help, but I consider myself lucky when I get to eat 2 times a day.

This is the greatest forum ever. I am so sorry to hear about the money problems. I wasn't even aware - and I'm sure there are plenty of others out there who weren't either. At $400 a mo. how have you kept going. Like so may others, our finaces are like Mother Hubbard's cupboard - very bare. Will send something when I can. Hope everyone can put something in to keep the board open. A hard year for all - around the world.

I wouldn't mind seeing a banner or two on the forum if it meant it would help it stay open.

I agree Luvian i even think a banner or something would "lighten" up this place too hehe but please not an "flashing" thing that is annoying maybe a one from Amazone.com they have tons of good books and sort of things.

I would really like to help out with the financial problems, but unfortunately my financial adviser would go medieval on my a.. if I were to spend any more money.
But Ziroc I think you should consider the banner suggestion, not that I would like a banner on this site, but I sure as hell would prefer a banner to no site at all.
How does the future of IW look, are you still fare from collecting the needed amount of cash?

How about "Gold Member" status? At another forum I visit sometimes they have a deal where you can "donate" to the site and become a gold member. They put this ribbon under your name, above your avatar saying that you are a gold member. You dont have to pay to be a member, but you can "show" your support. I don't know, just an idea. A little incentive. I personaly dont need incentive, I just cant afford it.

I've tried banner ads, and they paid crap. I got like 40-50 bucks every two months, but I AM looking for one that pays better. If I find one, I'll add a banner back to the front page here and on IWG. I would help!
