I am a sword collector and have recently been confronted with a problem. I have found this guy on the net that sells this reproduction sword that is not longer made anymore. I bought one, but returned it because the blade was tarnished. He sent me another, but this one, although shiny, was of much poorer quality than the first. The blade was bowed, the pommel cracked and so on, should I fight for a new unknown sword, try to get back the first, stay with what I have...
What should I do?? ------------------ Can an elf get a break anywhere these days? http://angelfire.com/rpg/aurican |

Fight, and keep doing so till you get what was promised.
And if negotiations dont go well.....a tarnished sword IS still a viable weapon ------------------ |

Put your foot down and demand that you get what you paid for, Aurican!
Swords are so expensive, the least you can expect is that they send you decent stuff. I would return the sword, ask for my money back and try and get it elsewhere.

I would but unfortunately this is the only place I can find it. Believe me, I have been looking for a long time too.

Its an old CAS Iberia Trojan Sword. CAS stopped making them about 6 years ago. This guy has a place in the phillipines that apparently is brimming with old swords.

Hey Aurican get your money back and go to this site and ask them about the sword you want. I have been to their showroom and I could not find anything wrong with their swords. Here is the link. www.varmouries.com
