How do I use the quivering palm? Do I use it next to an enemy or activate it then target the enemy with my fists?

Anyway you want and depending on the combat. The time it is activated is quite small so in some case you would want to be very near the enemy first (maybe hitting him already) and then you activate it. This is possible because it get's activated very fast.

Here's another question on the Quivering Palm... what resistance category do montsters use to avoid the effects of it? More often than not, it seems that when I use Quivering Palm, I see the message about resistance.

Also, where can I find a detailed description on quivering palm? Or a lot of the other 'abilities' that are class specific for that matter...

which means casting greater malison, and doom on them will give them a -6 to that save and guarantee their failure more often than not.

I've found that it works real well on Firkraag. I killed him
once with just one quivering palm. I'm not sure which of us was more surprised.
