The really cool thing about it is that, if there hadn't been a transit a couple of hundred years ago, and Britain hadn't sent out a group of people to the Pacific to chart it, and also mentioned 'hey just check on that great southern land while you're there...', Australia would not be the place it is today. I wouldn't exist! Thanks Venus!
