Go for Zenmaster. Then you can ignore them all.

Assassin: Do the quest for the Ratlings near the Burned-out House north of Ishad N'ha. (Ask for a job). Then take what they give you in payment back to the Thieves' Guild.

Zenmaster: Collect the 4 Tomes of Creation and bring them to a Bushi Dojo guild. One character must hold all four to count. The tomes and their locations are:

Tome of Fire: In a locked room just west of the Naga Chamber in the Serpent Temple
Tome of Wind: In S'Keser Da's room in the Boogre Caves
Tome of Water: In Collasium, on the way to the Library
Tome of Earth: In Cet's Pyramid, near a hallway that gives you crush damage (with bloodstains on the wall). It's behind a hidden wall that's opened after you flip the switch at the end of the hall.

Valkyrie: Have a FEMALE character get G'Ezerred Ra's heart from the top of the Pyramid of Cet (inside top) and burn it in the Urn of the Black Fire. Then return to the Temple.

Hope this helps!

(Nice ASCII art sword, BTW!!)

The Valkyrie and ZenMaster will only be available near the end. My advice: roleplay! Go for a balanced party, so what if you miss one level of one school of magic? There are very few MUST HAVE spells, most are just handy, we all have favorites. Check the desc for each class, and see if you want it. I'll be skipping a few (Ranger, Paladin, maybe others). There is no hard-fast rule. But do level a few times in each class to get benefits of each.
Enjoy!

Thanx, Saz. That helps me out a WHOLE bunch. I like feeding off of others' knowledge.

If I could have designed a scroll for characters to find telling them how to become a Valkyrie, this is what it would have said:

"If a blessed soul imparts
Mercy on a sinful Heart,
If she will consume its shame,
In the Urn of Ebon Flame,
Then his soul at last be free,
And she becomes a Valkyrie..."

It would have been so cool if the game had had some clue like that. As it is, I'm incorporating it into my "story line" at the Archives.
