Hi I decided to give the Item editor a try and it seems to be pretty straight forward however I am unsure about the codes I have to put in the Icon Reference boxes ie (Inventory, Ground, Description etc)
I would appreciate an example, do I use codes such as (ax1h13) or is there somewhere I could go for a list of the codes. if any of you programers out there could answer this question it would be much appreciated. |

Actually, those codes are for general display purposes only (ie. on the inventory screen or on the ground while you are playing), you can just copy and paste the code from existing items for this one, but it is not the create item codes (ie. ax1h13).
But I am still playing around with the program as we speak. |

I just take the sword i like the look of, then copy/paste all the icon ref's.
Or use an existing sword and delete its battle properties and edit your own |

I haven't done much lately (it is final exam time), but so far I have extracted the original items from BG2 and used some of them as templates for experiments.....the application for the codes on the spell charges I find most confusing.....there are some items like sw1h11 that will NOT allow you to remove from inventory (therefore, don't use it as template). Will let you guys know what happens (or failures) when I get more chances to "play" with the program! Till then, cheers.
