I know this has been covered (Ulgoth beard)

I have read through the other post already and I seem to be having the same trouble getting into ulgoths beard so this brings me to believe that there might be a sequence of events that needs to be done first. I can't get there at all. Or Durlag keep or tower or whatever.

If anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it seeing this is the coolest game. I haven't played any of the other games yet but would really like to finish this one first.

Please help if you can.

I have gone to the left of the bridge,
I have gone to the right,
I have gone past the farm
in the day and the night.
I still can't get to Ulgoth's beard.
It's a pain in the ass and
it's pretty damn weird.

I don't know if it's as simple as this

Try exiting the area just outside Baldurs Gate (the one with the BIG brigde) to the North

- this should mark the Ulgoth Beard area in blue
