LOL!! Bravo! Bravo Cloudy!
You deserve a nice cup of tea, I'll conjour the waiters for you. Ah, recently - I've been staying out of the kitchen, it's a fascinating place it is. Watching how to fry eggs is not a particularly interesting activity as eating the egg itself. Nevertheless, I'm coming to grips with how to do it and if the food gets burnt - I say it's part of the dish. Tres Bien!! Alas, alas - my fate, a while ago, ended with breakfast that was undercooked. I was too afraid to turn up the heat so everything was still rather raw. Poor daddy ate it and found out to my dissapointment. My mum is helping me a lot! I don't read cookery books, just help out in the kitchen and I've already cover a whole chapter! ------------------ [This message has been edited by Wah (edited 06-20-2001).] |

Wah,
You are most welcome! I think it's great that you are learning to cook. Everyone should know the basics of how to feed themselves and a few close family or friends who can ignore those black specs in the soup... Hello!
Djinn Raffo enters the cafe and offers condolences to the RudeDawg. Ah...Pot of Ginger Green Tea, please. ...Well...every winter for the past couple of years me and ten buddies have rented a school gym and we always play floor hockey. It is the best. Usually we play four on four, but last night because one of us could not show (getting married) we played three guys vs. four guys, the fourth player being a sub. Team: 3 = me, team 4 = them. Well last night the three of us absolutly destroyed the four of them. oh...It was pretty embarrassing for them, we won 22 to 6. What a display. There goalie (another buddie) was livid, swearing and cursing, smashing his stick down in frustration, kicking over the net, and almost at one point on the verge of a breakdown. Of course we were egging him on. And goal after goal after goal would wear anyone's mental health down. Anyway's...I wrote a poem about the joy I felt after scoring goals and making plays with my buddies: Olympus rising, Raucus bliss forever mine, Yells triumphantly. ...Fantastic tea... |

DawnChaser walks into the cafe, CounterPoint in attendance (is he ever not?) and after smiling and waving at the fellow patrons and the hostess, clears a place on the counter. CounterPoint then summons the mystical forces around him, concentrates, and■POOF,■a cappuccino machine appears on the counter, accompanied by a industrial strength blender, and an ice machine. A Star(bucks) is Born!
DawnChaser proceeds to create a venti mocha frappuccino, with a shot of espresso, for himself, and takes requests for orders from the other patrons. CounterPoint requests a shot of espresso, which DawnChaser serves in a thimble, no sugar (CP is hyper enough!) DawnChaser then proceeds to work the floor, moving between individuals and groups, inquiring as to their health and that of their families, offering congratulations on any number of accomplishments, condolences on losses, sadness over hopes dashed and desires unfulfilled, and meting out hugs and well-wishes without bounds. Having settled into the atmosphere, comfortable among those he calls friends, DawnChaser apologizes for not making it here sooner, and missing kiwidocs beautiful song, which he caught later through the local streaming media. Spotting a comfy looking couch, close enough to join in the various conversations if appropriate, but not so close as to impose, DawnChaser leaves the coffee station for whoever feels the need, and sits for a spell, basking in the warmth and love of those around him. CounterPoint sips at his dark, strong brew, flitting from group to group, hovering for a few seconds here, minutes there, as he takes in the conversation, sometimes flirting unabashedly with the ladies in the room, causing responses ranging from blushes after a stolen peck on the cheek, to friendly swats as he attempts to smooch with someone already deep in conversation with another. All is now good with DawnChaser...

kiwidoc walks in and makes herself a lovely pot of Daarjeling. Ahhhh perfect. Anyone want some birthday cake?
Next she asks DawnChaser if she can curl up on the couch next to him. Really loved your post and I am sorry you missed my last song. Here's one just for you. Bonny Blue Eyed Laddy Oh The frost is gone in the morning sun And the blue bells dance in the valley oh And I will pick them every one For my bonny blue eyed laddy oh. Winters breath was harsh and cold And the nights were long in the valley oh But spring is come in green and gold With my bonny blue eyed laddy oh My heart was bitter, bleak and bare Like a winters day in the valley oh But now a rose is growing there For my bonny blue eyed laddy oh. I thought that I was lost in night The shadows deep in the valley oh But now I dance in the morning light With my bonny blue eyed laddy oh The frost is gone in the morning sun And the blue bells dance in the valley oh And I will pick them every one For my bonny blue eyed laddy oh mp3 on http://www.drhope.fsnet.co.uk/bonny%20blue.mp3 ------------------ There is only one kiwidoc, accept no substitutes STANDARD OPERATING PROCEEDURE www.judyhope.co.uk [This message has been edited by kiwidoc (edited 06-20-2001).] |
