But I don't WANT to play William Tell, Billy!

And LK... correct me if I'm wrong, but you posted a picture of a cat, staring at a gun with someone's finger on the trigger. Not sure I really like the implications of either of 'em, but this one is much less fatal (potentially). Although if you're not careful, someone could put an eye out with one of those things...

True, but this is a baby. Who knows, I am sure they just stuck the suction cup on the baby's forehead to set up the picture, and maybe the gun isn't loaded in my picture of a cat (no offense to cats). See a difference here, maybe?

Rule #1 of gun handling, AFAIK, is that it's always loaded. Unless you've just checked to verify that it's unloaded, it's loaded. And if you have checked, someone snuck in when you weren't looking and loaded it. Too many people have found out the hard way what "one in the chamber" really means...

So as far as I'm concerned, the pistol in front of the kitty is loaded. And the person's finger is on the trigger. To me, that's more offensive than a spring-dart with a rubber cup on the end. Those things won't hurt unless you get 'em in a really bad spot (like in the eye, as I tried to say with a little humor -- sorry, forgot the smilie ).

And I'm not going down the whole "who's more valuable, a baby or a cat" line. If I have to save one, I know which it will be; that doesn't make the other less valuable.

I am not anti-gun, but I'm pro-safety. If the warzle fits, splook it. Don't know what that really means, actually, 'cause it's not related to the better-known saying. But I respect your opinion and perspective, and mine is that the two pictures are comparable, with the baby being slightly less objectionable.

Hmmm.... no Boogre Bar around here to clean things up. Buy you a drink at Cloudy's?
