How to roll back a version

How do i uninstall a patch, to drop my version number?

You need to do a critical rebuild. The lowest you can go with SOU is 1.30 though. The problem is I don't think there is a revert patch for 1.31 to 1.30, only 1.30 to lower. What patch are you wanting to return to?

1.30, so i can visit one of the worlds i used to play in. I tried the previous version patch at Bioware, but can't get it to work, so now i have the beta patch, and don't want it.

Ok, what do you mean you now have the beta though? I assume your on 1.31. What kind of error message is it giving you when you try to revert with the previous patch?

All you need to do is place it into your NWN's folder (on your hard drive) and click 'Update' on your Play menu. Do not unzip these files! Put them in there zipped and all.

Alternatively if all this is causing too much hassle just uninstall (saving saved games, characters, modules etc.) and re-install NWN's. When you install SOU over it that will bring you right up to 1.30.
