BOOYA! MY REPLACEMENT SOUND SYSTEM CAME TODAY! well, my old sound system, an Altec Lansing Surround Sound, was broken about a month ago due to unknown causes. however, Dell sent me a replacement (if anyone works in Dell out there, kudos!) system, and i just got it hooked up. it kicks ass!

Hey that's great news!

I always forget to turn my speakers on

Then people wonder why they see me online but I don't get their IM's because I am in some other window or program!

Wonderful!! I used to use an Altec one too - the one with the sub-woofer right?

How long 'was' the wait exactly?

Oooh, I have the Altec Lansing set with the subwoofer.
Anyone played Age of Empires with it? Just get your catapults going, & it sounds like WWIII!!!

If I do that the faint buzz in the background keeps me awake at night. Even being partially deaf in one ear.
Most all of my life I have fallen asleep in total darkness and total silence.
I'm totally screwed if circumstances ever make that an impossibility LOL!
