Well, i hope you don't think less of me because of this, but i have a big box of Smurf figurines. I used to collect those when i was little.

They are small plush toys constructed around a bean bag.

You can get all sorts of species of them.

beanie babies are small cutesy plush-like animals that are bean bags. Very popular here in the states. they had give aways for those in happy meal toys at mcdonalds, and people would wait in line for hours to collect them all.
