While it's not really the kind of music I'd normally listen to (tactfully put ), these tracks *do* betray a certain level of talent and creativity, especially in the more down-tempo tracks. Making me curious about any future directions your band will go, musically.
Pity you don't live close to the Netherlands, else I could have called upon my contacts and proposed your band for the local festival here (8000-ish visitors) - as I have the feeling your band would do great live.

Man, that sounds awesome. What's the name of the festival Groj? Is it for any particular occasion? Is it anything to do with the one you organised film screenings for?
Yup, that's the same one... It's called the Virus Cultural Festival, a yearly students-organized festival here at the University. And, like every year, they're struggling with their budget to program worthwhile bands - they're all much more expensive than you may think. I believe we had to go far over our budget last year to put Moloko on it, for instance. And it only turned out to be Virus's absolute low when we lost power up to four times during their concert and they had to quit their performance altogether.

Johnny! You made it back! I take it you found a way to get your password? Godd stuff. Also, are you right-clicking the link and 'saving target as'? There is no actual website to view, i just uploaded the files, so when you left-click the link it will just say that the site is unavailable.

Groj: Man, for all the hiccups you just mentioned that festival sounds awesome. I've been a fan of Moloko since my early teens (that lead singer lady is FOX! ), pity about the power cutting out during their set. Keep up the good work with getting it organised though.
It sucks that you have to deal with increasingly pricey musicians though man. Some of the bands that I've met/seen/played with (mostly NZ groups such as 'Pan Am', I doubt you would have heard of them) get too focused on how much they expect to be paid and not enough on putting their hearts and souls into playing music. They seem to treat music like it's some sort of commercial venture and look really bored/inconvenienced when they play, like they can't wait to get the show over with so they can get paid and move on to the next show. So long as I have enough spare cash to eat and keep sheltered, I'd play for free forever! heh heh. The arguably 'good' thing about New Zealand and its small population (4 million approx) is that there simply isn't a large enough consumer base to really make alot of money from music, so if you're a musician in NZ you have to really love what you're doing

Chewbacca: thanks for the support bro! You're a champ!
