I don't know what is going on with my poor old piece of crap computer... but Internet Explorer won't display any pictures at certain sites... including Ironworks... I checked the settings and the "Display pictures" is checked...

So anyone know what is going on?...

I feel like a blind man in a dark cave looking for a black cat that isn't there...

Clearing your Temp files may help....can't do any harm anyway. Is there any chance you're using AOL?

Might it be a Java or another display program problem? You know, the ones you have to download?

Does it show a placeholder, a red X, or a cracked picture? What happens when you right-click on the spot where it should be and click on "show picture"?

Are you using IE6 SP1? If you are, bummer!

You can always try and install the latest Microsoft Virtual Machine or re-associate the image formats with IE.

And finally here is an article for you: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=283807

it may be the firewall in your computer if you have one..

if you have a firewall, you may have enabled some of the feature that will disable animation or picture to come out in your IE. i have zone alarm.. i didnt notice that it disabled all the animation of the sig in IW till i tried getting my own sig (with the great help of DK, thanks again ) .. just a suggestion

It was set to some "unicode" or something weird...

Forget IE - IE is crap. Try the new Opera broswer - VERY Slick - IE looks like a tired old codger comparitvely.
Alternatively try Mozilla - open source, bugs are fixed daily! Both include better features like pop-up blocking.

Speaking of Mozilla.....try typing "about:mozilla" where you would normally type an URL.
