I've never heard of that, but considering IWD2 happen about 50 years after IWD1 I doubt it's true.

Gotta agree with Luvian. I've never heard of this.
The entire IWD2 story assumes that the events of IWD1 transpired and the "Heroes of Kuldahar" saved the Dale from Belhifet. The IWD2 story takes place a generation or two after the events of IWD1. The events of IWD1 are often mentioned in IWD2. They are central to the back story of the main enemy in IWD2. |

Actually, IWD2 is 20 years later. What do you mean by the connection between Isair and Madae with iwd 1 story? No pregnant woman, no dragon-kin, no eviction of half-dragon children, only the Seladrine hand and Orrick.
The connections: the ogre in the tower with the funny name, the Severed hand, Yxunomai, Kuldahar Gem, Orrick The Gray, Nym, Malavon, Ginafae, the party from IWD 1 and the aurilites. If you can think of anything else, say so, please.

The connections: The IWD pass were the avalance occured is now a cemetary. Look at the statues in Kuldahur you will see a new staue as been added of the former arch druid. The kid that you rescue from the closet of the wind mill (forget name), the red wizard who was turned into a umber hulk has found a way to turn himself back to a human.
The Big B is often mentioned who is the father of the twins. He impregnated that virgin eleven misses who you supposedly killed in the battle with the fire giants. She was pregnant with the twins posibly a month or two before you faced her or the big B. In IWD you didn't kill her but severly wounded her (story wise). I am so bad with names. the kid who you save in the mill? Forgot about that one. Where does he fit? Is he the on trapped in the tower with the other guy?
The Big Pompous B is often mentioned in books, as is the entire quest line including mythal book quest, aurilite's sacrifice, the pass and a few others. P.S. I feel angry at myself because I couldn't gather that the cemetary is the pass. GRRR at me! Edit: P.P.S. The necromancer from IWD 2 is mentioned in IWD 1 books, and it's not the one you kill in the amphitheater-like building. [ 09-23-2003, 02:41 PM: Message edited by: Bozos of Bones ]

The Umber Hulk was Sabbac-Tann or something (gives you quest for first badge), I believe you face him as soon as you come out of the underdark. He is back in human form.
That is the kid, he is the snarky one who does not trust you. Can't remember the Necromancer???? Amphitheatre??? What battle was that? I need to refresh my mind. One more I almost forgot, The Blacksmith and his son whom you rescued from Dragon's Eye. [ 09-23-2003, 02:55 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |

The necromancer is in dragon's eye on the bottom floor, before you fight the snake lady and her crazy carp cult (the CCC, anyone?). I don't remember his name, all i remember is that he was a bitch to fight with all of his advanced spells.

I know there is the guy in IWD 2 who escaped Kuldahar in IWD 1:HOW, the cheramics maker. Can't remember where to see him, but he is there.
P.S. I heard that in IWD 1, when you collect a complete skeleton, you get something. I also heard that when you carry the dead cat you find in the first dungeon all the way to the end, you meet a character later who says something like "You brainless fool! You carried a dead cat all the way from Easthaven to here! Why? You expect some expirience for this? A quest item? You brainless fool!". Any other easter eggs?
