Question Mark

Just a reminder that if you have any cats, especially black cats, to keep them indoors this Halloween. Black cats have been stolen and hurt before by superstitious idiots on this holiday. Keep your furry babies safe!
Teresa

PS - My son's black cat, Jaguar, is already safe inside and on my lap.

This is the kind of black cat you need guarding your house tonight:

(That's MY baby, Onyx!) one of the "big kitties" I volunteer with over at the Feline Sanctuary. Bet someone would think twice about trying to steal this one, LOL!

But excellent suggestion, Teresa, albeit a sad one. There's some loonies out there, and they do take out their idiotic superstitious aggressions on helpless small animals. They also prey on small children, so parents, do watch your children, and go trick-or-treating with them.

Hugs, and have a safe Halloween,

-Sazerac

I had a friend in college who used to die his white cat various colors for the holidays (via bathing it in dyed water). I think day-glow pink during a halloween party was the funniest.

Argh! Nothing against you, TL, but if that was someone I knew....they'd get an earful from me. Dying any pet isn't exactly good. HOPEFULLY it was a non-toxic dye, but pets, especially cats, can be poisoned from things that don't injure people. Chocolate is a good example. There's a component of chocolate that's deadly to dogs and cats, but it doesn't kill you or me to have a dozen chocolate bars...well aside from the weight/sugar issues!
