I got the game within a few weeks of release btu I haven't actually finished it yet. And why? Because I've been messing around with different parties (I have a different party on each save) and watching the beautiful scenery and creatures. I've spent so much time exploring the possabiliies of this that I've had a great time. The fact that I'm currently re playing Diablo 2, BG, MM6&7, Disciples:Shattered Lands, and a few others.

This is actually a difficult question to answer. I know I never kept track of the time I spent on the game. I would play a couple hours here, a few hours there and really don't remember how long it was from start to finish.

It was long enough that I felt I really had gotten my money's worth, it was short enough that I replayed the game. I like W&W particularly because it isn't *too* large a world (as the M&M games have become). I'm still playing this game!

My game shipped on Sep. 29, 2000, and I see the endgame file posted on my site is dated Oct. 21, 2000. I figure I played about five hours a day on average, making the total around the advertised 100 hours of gameplay, several hours of which were backtracking savegames due to bugs.

And the bugs are the reason I haven't really touched the game since. I replayed the final movie a few months ago and checked out my characters, but those several backtracking hours really soured me on what otherwise was a great gaming experience.

Looking foreword to the beta-tested Wizardry 8,
- John
