Berserker Mage?

Can't a human berserker dual to a mage?

Then why wont it? The prim. preq. for a mage is 9 INT. I have a human berserker kit with 18/18/18/18/9/3 stats, but the dual option isnt there.

You need a minimum of 15 STR and 17 INT.

I have.

A human Berserker (male, neutral good) with 18 in STR and 18 in INT (stats are 18/18/18/18/9/3) with 3 prof. in axes and two weapon style. The dual option won't appear.

I have ToB installed as well as several of the Weimer mods and NPC add-ons. I just cant make a berserker mage. Kensai no prob, but no berserker. What's up??

I think I know what's up. Are you lawful good? A beserker can't be lawful good. I'm certain of that and they may not be able to be any type of lawful but I'm not sure of that.

Oh, and you're right, btw. Berserkers can't be any type of Lawful.

Asking the obvious here, but have you patched your game up fully? Because I just tried it, and it works completely fine for me.

Also, did you happen to raise that Intelligence with ShadowKeeper? That is sometimes a reason to much errors with dualling.

If your 18 in Int is completely non-cheated, I don't know what else might be wrong. Have you tried to drink a Potion of Genius right before you try to dual?

The game disregards the use of potions when checking if dualing is valid, because otherwise a barbarian could be a mage as well. The stat is true however and yes, there might be a problem with patching: but which one? I have installed extra fighter classes and ToB components before I evenhad ToB.

I'll install the game anew, see if it works, otherwise BOO-HOO me.

P.S. About the Kensai/Mage, with ToB installed it was dual at 12 right? Not 13? What extra stats would lvl 13 give that lvl 12 doesn't?
