Actually, at the moment I am made most happy by whatever makes my sweetie happy. Maybe it's because my life is kinda evened out recently that I take pleasure in Reeka being happy for whatever reason. I remember that when she got a substantial raise in her new job, I was over the moon, even though it didn't really directly affect me. Hell, hearing that she survived her open-heart surgery made me rather chipper, as you can imagine!
Sadly, it works both ways. I remember when Reeka told me about a person who had been going (and still persisted, even after being caught) behind her back and spreading horrible lies about her to IW members out of jealousy and spite was finally caught out, she was miserable as sin, and that didn't please me too much. It's a measure of Reeka's self-control that she didn't tell everyone who it was. I couldn't have restrained myself in her situation. I guess I'll be happy when I get a job, which is kinda difficult in my area at the moment. Isn't it funny how money leads to happiness ? Isn't it also funny that the people who claim their immense welath has brought them nmohting but pain have no sympathy from ... anyone, really? Oh, but the one thing that recently did make me *very* happy was ... predictably enough ... getting to see Reeka for a week when she visited. YAY! Man, I always have a way of making the simplest questions into difficult answers. If only I had the opposite power too [ 07-30-2003, 07:56 PM: Message edited by: Bardan the Slayer ]
