Amen, Mel. I also like "clot-headed." Fav lines from WS (Henry IV, Part I)
Glendower: I can summon demons from the vasty deep.
Hotspur: Verily, so can I, and so can any man, but will they come?

People will still be smiling at that when Keanu Reeves is forgotten.
My favorite movies?
Casablanca
Arthur
Bringing Up Baby
His Girl Friday

Attalus says that I have to put in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Zulu, and Waterloo, but that's just him.

Sir Goulum,

I am not intending to be rude, or smart, simply asking a question?

I have never understood people's fascination with Star Trek! Personally, I am a big fan of Science Fiction as you can see from my favourite movies listed above, yet Star Trek seems to be cheap and overly tecky. Have I missed the point? Is the storyline (Neverending?)good enough to overlook the tackiness?

Please do not be offended, this is not an attack on your personal preferences!

I have always liked Star Trek. I thought they all were cool. But I'm not one of the "Trekkies", I just liked them, neverending or not.
I mean the Star Trek movies were cool, I just don't consider them my personal all time favorites. But I can see why Sir Goulum does.

Without giving credit to more recent movies, I will simply say that the one I have seen more numerously than any other, and let that be my stand...

The Princess Bride.
