This is really weird, I'm not getting a "30-second thing" at all, and I am on a mere modem. Perhaps it is the speed of your CPU? I'm typing from a Pentium III 866 Mhertz.

oh, i think the points spent on dex were useless. i know you can maybe snap someones neck with good dex but i think that is only in the games beginnig. other than that, dex gives ONLY 1 lousy extra AC. wis is pretty useful too, because of its exp bonus. ok, one more stat tip- did you know that con affects your regeneration? when you get like about 21 con, you have a sudden change of regeneration time. you get about 2 extra hps per second. if you get a con of 25, your regeneration rate would make you immortal. you get atleast 4 Hps per second.
actually, i have never used Dak`kons magic. his low level spells suck compared to what he can do with his karach blade. i think you shouldnt go to mage class with so good fighting stats, but still, invest some points into int. if you finish the game, and play from the start again, do a mage with really high int and wis. you will understand how useful it is . oh, did you know that with high wis or int(cant remember which one, maybe both) you can gain something like a total of 40000-50000 exp, increase Dakkons three fighting stats to 1dex, con, str) and let him gain a few levels? well, you can. just initiate dialogue with him and say that you want to learn the way of zertimon .
