I believe it is Ziroc's wish that discussion of both expansions be placed on this forum.

Thus, if we have a thread about HotU, just use that abbreviation at the beginning of the topic title and we'll be fine.

If it pertains to SoU, then you don't have to do anything at this time, but if HotU is to share this space, then we'll have to distinguish what each post is in reference to...to avoid terrible confusions.

I think it's a good idea. The audience of NWN's will again be halved come HOtU leaving no reason to create a new forum.

Definitely a good idea. Although I think that a fair number of the people who bought SoU would be HotU, just because you might as well.

Light Bulb

I bought SoU and I will definitely play HotU. I am regarding it as one long game.

You don't need SOU to play HOTU so there may be people who will only buy Hordes.

True, but they are missing out, IMHO, just like people who play BGII without playing BG, first.

Agreed totally. It is backward compat. but would truly be pointless for any serious gamer...

Not just terrible confusions...possible spoilers as well. Nothing worse than finding out who the big baddie is in HOTU before you've even bought the game.

Yep, problem is newer members sometimes do not warn and also have no way of knowing the format of this forum. I know there is a post up there already but I'd suggest perhaps to do like the Biomods do and make a sticky called 'Concerning this forum - Read this first!'. Dramatic I know but trust me, it made me think twice and take a look before making my first post over there and since there is a duel title ownership it could like you say, avert future disasters.
