Hi,
I understand that the state pension age for men is 65 and 60 for women, but this may not be the official retirement age. Does anyone know if there is an official retirement age in the UK? And whether the UK Government has any position on retirement (does it for example, encourage "unretirement" so that one continues working beyond the official retirement age, so that one's retirement needs can be adequately met)? The above will be very useful to a study that I'm doing, and I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks! |
