I just joined the Cambridge University Role Playing society.
This afternoon on the fresher's evening we had a mystery RPG where I was a serial killer and also a cat (don't ask). I on the way back bought a III rd edition monster stats book. I am now bankrupt! How do I use it! i have NO background in AD&D! i started with BG1 and iWD and finished at ToB. I find it sooo good! But all these fortitude thingys and strength over 25 is weird! Do I need the rule book?? ------------------

Yea, the rulebook would help Good luck though. Pool of Radiance is 3rd edition (well mostly) so the manual could help you in that game

Well if you need any help you can either email me, the mail is in the info, or post it up here and I can try to help you. There are alos some other 3:ed players on the board so if you have questions we can probably pool our resources and help you out. Sofar I have more or less all the official 3:ed books except the adventures. So I can look up some rules for you.
