Just wanted to say that if you've got a thief (high leveled), USE THE BACKSTAB ABILITY! My thief once gave 88 damage...

Yep. At 4* backstab, I've got 130 damage, plus 20 damage for lightning strike (with celestial fury). I also had a poisoned weapon, but the creature didn't survive so it didn't matter
At 7* backstab I'm hoping for 200+ hp, at least. |

At 7x bs you'll be doing about 120 damage regularly, more when you're lucky. *cackle*

Heh BG I backstabs before patch was insane. Thieves could walk around in the desert without a shadow in sight totaly hidden in shadows. My fighter thief dished out some big time damage like that (well in BG I terms not as effective in BG II since you can dish out great damage so many ways but still great damage
