In my map, Fort Ranik got 2 swords. Which mean the quest there is done. However, Great Northen Wall and Ruins of Surmia only got 1 sword. I've done the mission for both these place. What am I missing? I don't see anybody who got ! above their heads.

You get one sword for doing the mission and you get the second sword if you do the bonus mission as well. Don't remember what the particular bonus missions are for those two places.

The side quests. Every mission has a secondary mission within it. North Wall is you have to collect 4 peices of armor called "Kinn Testibre's..." stuff which are hidden in piles of stuff around the area past the door that you have to pull the lever to open. The ghost is around the east side of the map and hi's names Kinn Testribre. If you can get all 4 peices of armor to him you get 1000 XP. And it's really easy to do.
For ruins of surmia: The side quest involves following 4 Char-Flame guys as they carry a huge tortch tot he south. DO NOT KILL THESE CHAR. Follow them into their main base, when they go in the doors will open up, this is your chance to attack and kill all the char there. Also: Find the large tortch behind the doors of that area and kill the 4 flame-keepers and that gives you another 1000 XP and a skill point. So: To Review: One sword = Mission beat Two swords = Missio Beat + Sidequest

Try doing the Quests with the Henchmen only, that way you get all the credit and the treasures yourself. The only thing you share with the Henchmen is the gold you find. I have gotton some of my best and most powerful weapons that way.
The other way to get the best stuff on a Quest, mission or adventure is to be the recruter and leader of a group. The best prize is always alocated to the person that puts the group together. When you do the bonus quests in any group weather you lead or not everybody in your group will get the 1000 Bonus points of credit when its completed. If your having trouble on any quest and I'm on line playing give me a whisper. If I'm not on the middle af a quest myself I will teleport to your area and help you with the quest. Maybe we can get some of the other guild members to help with the harder missions or even the complete quests to get you ahead and all the bonuses on the first time threw. Being that I have passed Ascension I won't get any EX points but it's still fun to help out others in our Guild.

Sounds like you are either having driver or memory issues on that comp Kakero. Have you installed anything recently hardware wise or updated some software in the OS?

That does it! I gonna upgrade my computer tomorrow. I went berserk and nearly smash the deskstop after my computer hang again in the Forst Gate mission.
edit : this is interesting, reading at guild war guru forum shows that this game had major issues about heating stuff. i hope there'll be a patch to address this issue. Looks like i won't need to upgrade my computer. [ 05-18-2005, 10:58 PM: Message edited by: Kakero ] |
