I know there is a way to do it, but here is my problem.

I forgot (this time around) to get Edwin in my group before i paid Gaelan the money for shadow thief help. Now i can't find him and i know there is a way to CLUA console him. any idea how>?

You could keep playing the game, and by chapter 6 you will be able to go back and recruit him.

He should be in the Copper Coronet, just up the stairs, if you've done the theives guild quests, if you haven't go talk to Renal Bloodscalp on the second floor of the thieves guild in the docks district.

I searched on the net for the code you wanted, and I found:

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("[name]")

Put Edwin's name in there, and I suppose it'll work. Hope it does!

Edit: Hmm... seems like that code was for BG1 only...

Oh your're still good. I don't think you missed out on Edwin if you have not done the Renal Bloodscalp quest yet. You can meet Renal by going to the second floor of the Shadowthieves guildhouse. Do his quest right and you will get a chance of meeting with Edwin. Whether or not you get him in your party depends on your decisions.
