Now that my team have been given a sound spanking, I can get on with enjoying the RWC.

From a purely rugby perspective, I would like to see France -v- NZ in the final. Both teams seem to have concentrated on the running game and should provide a spectable.

From a purely malicious perspective, I would like to see Englandshire in the final against....well whoever . Preferably England would score about 7 penalties from the boot of Johnny (robot) Wilkinson and be soundly thrashed by a team which realises that a) scoring tries is what rugby is really about and b) kicking for touch is the last not the first choice a team should make.

But then again I'm Scottish so what do you expect

I like your style Mouse - and of course we would be able to heap the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune on Donut and Lanesra down at the pub

Waits for PC giant and Downunda to say hello!
Here I am

I won't need to brag in this situation. Bragging is for losers, so I say we just wait and see. And when we win, then I shall laugh at all ye who have posted on this thread.

I can assure you that you will be meeting a number of professional Englishmen in the pub. And one Polish Glaswegian who assures me that Aberdonians share a common interest of an ovine kind with the Welsh and New Zealanders.
