Im currently playing the Night Elf campaing, and im on the mission to find the druids of the claw(or whatever), but the game kicks me out with the following message everytime i come to this land bridge protected by black dragon whelps:
"This application encountered a critical error: The file is corrupt Program: d:\warcraft iii\war3.exe File: Sound\Dialogue\NightElfCampaign\NightElf05\N05Furi on59.mp3" can anyone tell me WHY this comes and HOW i can fix it? do i need to re-install? can i at least continue with my game after the re-install, if thats what i need to do? please help...

Re-installing would be an option. Or maybe someone else can send you a copy of the corrupted file.

Definitely a corrupt file. IS D: you CD drive? Or is it the hdd the game is installed on? If it's on the hdd you have some corrupt sectors, which means you will probably see more of these errors. Uninstall the game, run a complete scandisk/checkdisk, and reinstall the game. If D: is your CD-ROM then the CD probably is scratched. Or it needs to be cleaned.

yup what they said.
and, no... if you reinstall the game, you get to repeat the whole game... wait... unless you can have a copy or of your save file... that will surely suffice... but other than that you would have to repeat it so better have that saved file at hand... |

Kudos for finishing RoC; that stretch of 45 minutes in the last level of the Night Elves is quite hard!
Go and try the Frozen Throne The opening movie is brilliant for a starter, but the rest is really good as well. I'm nearing the end now (in the sixth level of the Undead Campaign, with the Orc RPG finished) |

The RPG was pretty funny, and relatively easy as well. According to the ending 'sequence' there are two more (downloadable) parts to follow, so I'm waiting anxiously. Frozen Throne missions are indeed hard, and harder still as I try to explore everything and find all the sub-quests. But that just makes the game even more worthwile. I even unlocked the secret level by myself *brag mode off*
