My fighter, samurai, and ranger are all at around level 13-14,have dex and speed at around 70-100, and weapon skills >80 (the ranger has 100 in bows). Thye have multiple swings per attack, but I've NEVER seen them do multiple attacks per round! The stat screen does say they should get 2 attacks per round.
Is this a bug?? Anyone seen this? |

Have you checked their carrying capacity? If their load # is in any color other than white, their combat performance will suffer. I'm sure there are other possibilities, but this leapt to mind for me.

very strange.
agree with Sloucho, heavy is bad! what about close combat/ranged combat skill level? Though this doesn't seem likely to be a problem by your level. also, will miss first attack if you move, but "never". Don't expect you move every turn I have had no such problems soo...can only guess at "fixes" Let us know if you find out the problem! Good luck.

As soon as your (Ranged/Close Combat + Weapon skill) exceeds 100 the character should gain a second attack. Even if he/she is lvl 1 with low stats.
The 3rd attack is more difficult to come by and is dependant on skill, level, and stats. |

don't confuse attacks with turns. you get a MAX number of turns
per round, and a MAX number of attacks per turn. since they are MAX, it doesn't mean you'll actually get them. for example, it says my Ranger gets two turns max per round, and two attacks max per turn. on his first turn he attacks twice, but on his second turn he attacks only once. and it is modified by your weapon (among other things). |

I always click on the "move" icon before a turn starts, this makes me lose all the extra attacks! Even when I don't end up moving at all, just turn around etc, I only get 1 attack per round.
Ouch, combat is much easier now. |
