I have read this talk about the "invincible" squirrel in Icewind Dale. I had a paladin at the end of the game that killed the squirrel with one hit. The hit was recorded as being 12pts of damage. I didn't try any magic, but a sword does the job easily enough. I am starting to believe that this talk is nothing but a big joke. Ha ha.

Well you got lucky! Caught it by surprise. Damn squirrel knocked my party out 5 times in a row, still never beat it. Maybe soon though....

I read from the Developer Message boards that they never programmed that squirrel to take damage and die. It would be impossible to kill it. If it is not written in the code for it to be destroyed, the only way you could do it is if you downloaded something like Dalekeeper, and edited the original game format. Most of the people here will only believe it really died without editing by supplying evidence. Sorry!
