I killed Xuno-whatever but I can't find the Hearstone Gem. Is it supposed to be in her chamber or what?

Just a note on the Heartstone gem. I was VERY disappointed when I saw it... it is UGLY! I thought it would be major ruby-red and gorgeous... It ain't. It looks sort of like a piece of mud...
