I know there is an XP cap of something like 2.9 million and I also know there is an XP cap remover. If you remove the cap how does the game know what new abilities you get (more spells, thief points, etc.) with a level up? Is there some formula the game uses that will work up to infinity XP? Or is the data already in some file up to a certain level (beyond the cap)? If thats the case, why is there a cap?

when you get the xcap remover i think the added affects from higher levels are included with the xcap remover edit, they're not already included in the game. i think... i haven't actually used the cheat.

Don't know how the cap knows but it seems to. Playing with the cap off in a multi right now. I think the creators were thinking about keeping the game challenging. In our multi, we are all 21-26 level characters and we are playing on insane to make it challenging. Hasn't been terribly so with the exception of a few fights. We did this because we all wanted something a little different for the multi. I play my solos "clean."

Well, I'm at least going to play my first solo "clean", I was just curious as to how the cap remover works.
