Aaargh, i was just playing a new game, American conquest, and it was sluggish like hell. I already started to think i had to go out tomorrow to buy me some more RAM, but when i saved and shut it down, it appeared that Norton was scanning my harddrive for virusses. Hence the crappy gameplay. Sheesh, every time i'm playing a game, Norton thinks: hey, time to go to work.

well Xen´s advice works but i agree with you johnny norton always does that when ya wanna play... but still there must be a better way... Nah! there just is no better way

Hello everyone, school starts next week on the 14th. Yay? Got school stuff. Can't wait for football(American)Will make sure it takes 2 guys to take me down. It took 3 to take my cousin. Vaskie! Saw your pics on Stealthys, looks like it was cold! How high up was that? I can't imagine how the views were! Glad you had a good time!

The snowey bits were between 2800m and 3000m. It wasn't too cold, as you can see we were all wearing shorts. However, one day there was a minor snowstorm when it was around -1C - this was in July!

Since you aren't playing online why don't you just disable Norton while you play. I had the same problem when playing Civ III and ever since then I've disabled Norton before playing a game. No slow down, no crashes.
