I think that the fighter or clerics are the best! What about you?

Well the reason I like druids

1. Best offensive cleric spells are available
2. Can turn into Earth and Water Elementals which are immune to slashing damage and regenerate hit points over time, and do a great deal of crushing damage.
3. At higher level no need for rest
4. Also has a great deal of useful summon spells

There are several areas of the game which become a cakewalk if one of your party is 100% immune to slashing damage (druid in elemental form).

From a fighter's standpoint, I love the Ranger. From a spellcaster's standpoint, I would have to say Druid.

My favorite is a Paladin. Followed pretty close by an elven fighter specializing with bows. Favorite magic using type is the Illusionist (from my old PnP days).

Hey! My Avatar changed. Cool.
