A quiz on Skakespear and his works...

1. Shakespear used blank verse- non-rhyming poetry with 10 syllables per line. Were he to write all his works in this, they would end up quite boring- what did Shakespear to do overcome this ??

2. Shakespear founded a theatre in London, which has been refound and reconstructed... what was/is its name ??

3. Other than that they were written by Shakespear, what do the plays The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, and The Taming of the Shrew have in common ?? What is different about this in each ??

4. In what Brittish town was Shakespear born ??

More questions coming soon

1. He used Iambic Pentametar, and my spelling is probably wrong.

2. The Globe theatre.

3. Not sure on this one.

4. As Aviendha said - Stratford.

He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon. (I'm going there!)

It was the Globe Theatre.

mm...he used Iambic Pentameter, I don't know if that applies to all of his plays though.

I've only read R&J of that batch, so I don't know.
