Anyone else listening to it on TV? Man... I remember hearing it when I was little (A Tornado warning) and it was chilling then too!

The old brickworks near where I used to live used its one (ww2 left over) everyday to signal the start/end of shifts.

I woke up to it this morning.

The alarm clock went off and the radio station was playing the sound of the siren before going into the story. When I got to work, the ladies actually were talking about the sound, and they also used the word chilling.

When I was living at Maroubra Beach we had a shark alarm that sounded like that. Surfers ignored it of course...
