the Sisco Router that is at my friends ISP is 'crashing' out. I don't know what is going on--he says it might be the box going bad, and he's gonna have someone look at it.

This is NOT our server that is the problem, It's a router (The box that takes incoming fiber and then outputs it to all the servers and DNS.)

But hang in there!
We will be on a full Fiber channel at T3 levels soon, which means there will be about 300% increase in bandwidth for us! (Means you guys with ISDN or faster will SEE a speed increase)

But I am going to need to help him pay for this, so I may run banners here (I HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAATEEEE having to do that), but if I don't get some money coming in, we'll lose Ironworks AND tgeweb soon. I'm working on ideas for raising money monthly now..

PS: Keep those donations coming! We haven't had but 1 paypal donation since the server was up .

Glad to hear it's being looked at - it's quite annoying to get 'the server cannot be found' all the time. I've been getting them this afternoon too.

Ziroc, I'll try and see if I can manage forty or fifty dollars this time, but I'm not sure about it, if I can, I will, but I can't promise anything.

I was wondering what was up. Glad you filled us in Z. You know I don't really mind the banners. All of poor people who aren't allowed to spend their own money, feel a little guilty when we can't help pay for this sort of thing. So the banners sound like a good idea to me! Of course I can't speak for everyone...

Hmm, banners might be an idea. How much is needed for montly coverage Z?
You could start a nice Choc gold member club! (oki, joking here) But the members might get away with three spam posts every month and get a nice Diploma with Choc on it and also have a small plastic card to put in their vallet!

Seriously though, paypal is a bit offish here, any other payment methods would be nice. How about transfering directly to your account via banks on internet??? Just asking for ideas here..

I think that banners would be a nice idea. They're not too disruptive, popups I'd mind, unless it only happened once for every time you logged in, but I've got no problems with banners
