Well, it wasn't planned, but we had a car issue that cost $345. The breaks were shot--and I mean they were down to steel. No pads left! It was making noise all the time.. Anyway, they also said the drums and other things were bad, and was leaking fluid too. Scary!

Anyway, I really hate to ask, but its needed badly.

Thanks guys!

when do you need it by? If its sooner than 2 weeks I'll try to be faster.

But coming from a college student, don't expect too much. Lol =P

Now see, I live way to far away. I could have fixed your car for whatever it cost you to get the parts, and I'm just as certified as any of the technicians they have working, but we would have had to do it at night...I can't stand daylight anymore...

Stinks about your car, but at least you found out about it and got it fixed. I remember my parents took our old GM min-van for a trip to NY state to visit some friends when the motor exploded halfway back and they were stuck there = / No fun at all.
Anyways, I put in what I could but I *just* got back from Europe yesterday, returning to bills to pay, sorry

Come on guys! I'm sure we can manage to raise 200$! It take just a couple of bucks from each of us.

Due to some big costs this past week (fan motor on heat pump dying, needing four new tires on car, paying for some groceries for mom) as well as the upcoming payoff of student loans, I cannot help as much as I did in the past, but as Luvian said, every little bit helps.
I'll send what my wife lets me send
