All I have to say is wow.

Although I only get limited coverage provided by VH1 and MTV (I'd much rather be watching the London show only through XM satellite), it still is a fantastic performance.

First off, I have to say that I think it is incredible that artists and celebrities are promoting this cause worldwide. It is just a great way to show the global bond between people, and how everyone can pull together for such an incredible cause. Personally, I think the cause is well worth it. Not getting to politics, but I think if just everyone pulled together worldwide to help those less fortunate than us, we can make a difference.

To paraphrase what Bob Geldof from earlier today "20 years from now, you can look back and tell your children that this was the day when we changed the world."

Any thoughts on these multipe concerts, and performances? And more importantly, the change that people are trying to bring.

I think it's a good cause, but the world can't be completly changed in a few days. It will take years.
But a good cause all the same.

Naturally a change like this would take much longer. But I think the world can provide a strong enough influence to the G8 summit and at least start the beginning of a new, better, change.

I've been watching since around 4pm, it's been pretty good. Had a nice sing along to Angels and Amarillo

It would have been so cool to go, but I'm sat here singing along to the TV

Perhaps again in 20 years (Hopefully a reunion for the concert that changed the world) I might be there, if I remember that is.

I've been watching since it started. literally incredible.

BTW, just finished watching The Who. Amazing performance I might say. I wish I could view the entire London show though -_-

Can't wait till the Floyd reunion performance, I've been waiting for this when I first listened to Floyd.

A good cause. Sign the petition at www.live8live.com if you want.

In the London concert I thought The Who were good but I'm not really a fan of anything else there, apart from Pink Floyd (who are on as I type this).

Oh man. That was truly a great moment in history ever. Seeing Roger Waters back up there with Dave, Nick, and Rick, truly a splendid moments.

They chose some of the greatest songs. Comfortably numb was absolutely brilliant, however the pricks at VH1 cutoff the ending solo halfway through

Either way, I've waited for this moment for nearly 6 years, and I've finally seen it. I am in ectasy right now.

People don't realize how fruitless these humanitarian aid missions are. The president of Nigeria pocketed 4 billion dollars out of 5.2 billion dollars for humanitatian aid. Corruption is the biggest problem in Africa.

Someone needs to build infrastructure, or else it all falls over, just like it did after European countries relenquished colonial rule.

Actually the world populations getting a bit high, seems to me there should be an Anti-Concert. Let nature take its course, ■■■■'em
